Lionel Messi has worn adidas since 2006 and has been the face of the F50 for almost the whole of that time. The F50 adizero was effectively built around him — low, light and unforgiving — and adidas has released a Messi signature version of nearly every generation since, usually carrying his own logo on the heel and colours tied to a moment in his career. The 2024 return of the F50 brought the partnership full circle.
